Stacy Lyn started her own online retail business, All A Girl Wants, in 2007. Determined to design and run the website herself, she turned a learning experience and new adventure into a passion for website design.
Stacy graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2001 with a degree in Mathematics, emphasis in Statistics, and a minor in Business Finance. After college, she worked in the Statistics office at NIU as the Division's Secretary. Here she was introduced to the computer language of La TeX, a mathematical document preparation system. This coded language is very similar to the HTML language used to create web pages, and provided a stepping stone for Stacy to learn HTML and create her own web pages for All A Girl Wants. Since then, Stacy has expanded her design skills and maintains multiple websites for a number of clients.
In 2002, Stacy moved to Quincy, Illinois where she was the Executive Administrative Assistant for the Quincy Association of REALTORS®, Inc. Stacy performed everyday operations of the Association and also maintained the Multiple Listing Service. The interaction and correspondence with business professionals and the general public
provided much insight as to what the public wants and expects from products and
services. Stacy strives to provide exceptional customer service everyday to her store customers and web design clients.
With an online business prospering, and a first baby on the way, Stacy and her husband moved from Quincy in 2008 to be closer to family. Stacy is a work-at-home mom, and currently resides in the West Suburbs of Chicago with her husband and two sons.
Stacy knows how important and fulfilling it is to share what you know and love with others. She will create an "online opportunity" for you to do just that! She has advanced computer knowledge, experience in HTML coding, photo sharing, web presentation and customer satisfaction. Stacy is proficient in gathering and disseminating information using social networking sites, and is continuously learning the latest technology and familiarizing herself with today's website trends and techniques.
